02.10.2015 Altai companies entering new markets and broadening the range of exports

Despite the complex international situation, Altai Territory SMEs continue to develop export activities and enter new markets. New contracts will certainly contribute to international economic relations intensification.

Altai enterprise Dr. Kornilov company signed a contract for the supply of its products to Latvia. In the nearest future the goods are to be shipped. There seems to be more export opportunities for the company in the region. Negotiations with Estonia and Lithuania are in progress already. The Baltic countries show strong interest in the products we offer as the priorities for Dr. Kornilov company include the development, production and sale of non-alcoholic honey-antler balms and biologically active substances using ancient recipes from traditional Altai medicine. The company uses high quality honey, plants, Siberian Stag velvet antlers  harvested in the foothills of the Altai mountains. The team of specialists developed an innovative method for producing an extract of deer antlers with Cahors wine .

Moreover, a new interesting product - buckwheat husk – has been introduced to the overseas markets recently. According to the commercial director of Altai foreign trade company Andrey Kudashev previously subjected to burning husk is being sold to China, and even Panama now. More than 100 containers of husk have already been sold to agricultural forein companies. The product is in demand, and supply will continue. Apart from buckwheat husks, Altai buckwheat has been a commodity of high demand in the foreign markets. More than 800 tons of  this groat have been exported  to Japan this year.
