01.08.2016 ECONOMIC IMPROVEMENT BETWEEN RUSSIA AND IRAN.

The Board of registration of Tehran companies registered the Department of Russian Export Center in Tehran on 23rd of July. It is considered to let Russian exporters be more active on the Iranian market and promote their goods and services.

The main directives are analytical, information, financial and insurance export support. The problem of the payment between Russia and Iran is going to be resolved by the creation of the bank and financial mechanism of carrying out calculations in Ruble, Rial and Euro. It will help to increase the trade turnover.


In June, 2016 Russian Gazprombank started its work with the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran. «The Central Bank wanted to extend the number of Russian bank partners», - said the Head of the International relation department Mr. Hossein Yaghoubi Miab. The presence of the Russian financial institutions is a necessary requirement in order to increase the trade turnover between the states and for expansion of Russian companies on the Iranian market.

The geographical proximity, intense economic growth and a high demand for new goods and technologies made Iran attractive for Russian exporters after the sanctions were lifted.
