The Head of the course is the famous phytotherapeutist, Ph.D. Sergey V. Korepanov.

Students will get acquainted with the basics of herbal medicine and its modern trends. A significant part of the program will be devoted to dealing with plants from various natural areas of Altai.

June 20 - 22 - lectures will take place in Barnaul.

June 23 - 27 - practical training will be held in the Altai Mountains.

Those who have higher or secondary medical or pharmaceutical education, will receive a state-standard "Certificate of Advanced Training in Phytotherapy "after doing the course.

The total cost of training is 42 500 rubles (accommodation and meals in Barnaul are not included).

The price includes travel costs, accommodation and organized meals in the Altai Mountains.

Students who do not have medical or pharmaceutical education, are also invited to phytotherapeutists courses. In this case, you will receive "Certificate of Advisor in the Field of Herbal Remedies, produced by  Pharmaceutical factory "Galen", confirming training results in the Altai Krai Phytocentre "Alfit" on the course "Herbal Medicine in the Prevention and Treatment of Somatic Diseases."

For this group of students full tuition fees are required 17 500 rubles (accommodation and meals in Barnaul are not included).

The price includes the payment of travel, accommodation and organized meals in the Altai Mountains.

The lecture course lasts from June 20 to June 22, 2016. It will be held in the conference hall of "KOLOS", Barnaul, Molodezhnaya st., 25.

-         General characteristics of medicinal plants, their classification

-         The methods of preparation and storage of medicinal raw materials

-         Dosage forms (manufacturing, storage, dosage, method)

-         Preparation and optimization of charges of medicinal raw materials

-         The history of the world and domestic herbal medicine

-         The basic principles of herbal medicine

-         Private phytotherapy

-         Herbal medicine in the prevention and treatment of cancer

-         Immune phytotherapy

-         Medicinal herbs used against diseases of the respiratory system

-         Medicinal herbs used against diseases of the digestive system

-         Medicinal plants in case of cardiovascular diseases

-         Medicinal herbs in case of nervous system diseases

-         Medicinal plants used for treating pathologies of the endocrine system

-         Medicinal herbs used for getting over musculoskeletal system diseases

-         Medicinal plants against  urological diseases

-         Medicinal plants in the treatment of gynecological diseases

-         Field exercises

Preparations needed before the course:

Send a request to the head of the course, which indicates your first and last name, field of work, position. Let us know if you need help in finding an accommodation;

Fill in an application form and sign a contract between you and Altai State Medical University (on arrival);

Pay for the course in cash (on arrival).

Things you must take with you:

a copy of  university diploma (certificate of education);

copies of your passport (a photo page and registration page).
